Free Christian Content.org is the result of eight Perl programs that I wrote while managing my church's website: ElmCreek Community Church. The intent of those programs was to use the web to spread the word about our Lord. Those eight programs are listed on this web site and they use a variety of approaches to reach those viewing the content. Those approaches range from humor to touching the heart of the individuals, in an attempt to move them towards the Lord or at least make them more receptive to that possibility.
    While managing my church's web site, I was constantly looking for free content that I could use to improve the site and to give people a reason to return to it. Free content that changes on a regular basis is the best way that I know of to get people to come back and see what is new. This in turn gives you an opportunity to reach out to them with other content on your web site. 
    I found it difficult to find free content that was appropriate for a Christian web site and to then keep track of where I had seen it. The result of that frustration is this web site. It's sole purpose is to provide Christian web masters with a single source from which to locate Free Christian Content. My ultimate goal is for this site to be THE web site that Christian web masters use to locate Free Christian Content.
    I am also partnering with individuals and churches that have content to share but don't have the time to prepare their materials for distribution, don't want to go to the expense of delivering the content, don't want to promote the content or don't have the technology to deliver it to other sites. We will set everything up on our site and provide  links on the shared content back to your website and ours as well. That way we all benefit from sharing our materials.
    This site is funded completely by myself and I intend for it to stay that way. You will find a few ads on each page that generate income that I use to fund my "Pass On Book" ministry. You will find banners at the bottom of each page that are part of banner exchange programs that get this site exposure on the web. I hope that you find this site a useful asset to your web ministry.
